Use Gilray Plant’s fire-retardant debris net to clad your building project to protect the public and site workers from falling debris. All our fire-retardant debris net is tested to Technical Schedule 62 (TS62) by Exova Warringtonfire. TS62 is one of the reference documents (alongside Loss Prevention Standard 1215) that is cited in the publication Fire Prevention on Construction Sites. Published by the Fire Protection Association, this Code of Practice aims to eliminate the risk of fire on building sites by recommending best practice. In testing, Gilray Plant’s fire-retardant debris net undergoes a small flame, medium flame and flammable liquid test. These test certificates are available upon purchase of the netting. Our fire-retardant debris net is available in a variety of colours – blue, green or white with red marker lines to denote its status as being fire retardant. Made from high density polyethylene with a weight of 80 grams per square metre, Gilray Plant’s rolls of fire retardant debris net are available in lengths of 2 metres x 5o metres and 3m x 50m. The green, blue and white f/r netting all have red marker lines to denote their fire-retardant status. For peace of mind, we at Gilray think it is often worth buying fire-retardant as opposed to regular debris net!
